難得今天所有隊員齊集, 大家一起預先來一頓一年一度的"冬至素食午間聚餐"!!! 以前一直在羅漢寺, 今年有新隊員加入, 大家決定改在靈隱寺吃飯!!
所以大東山之行繼續押後.....
先於東涌乘坐23號往大佛的巴士, 再於"山海亭" 下車. 然後向深屈方向前行, 步向延慶寺那邊.

As all the members were present today, we had changed our plan a bit... instead of going to Sunset Peak (Now to next week),
we were going to have our annual Veg. lunch gathering for Winter Solstice @ Ling Yan Monastery!!
First, we started from Tung Chung, we took bus no.23 (for Big Buddha) and got off @ San Hoi Ting.
Then moving to the way for Sham Wat, and walked to Yin Hing Monastery.

今早非常寒冷, 深屈這一邊風勢十分強勁, 氣溫大約10度左右. 大家決定9秒9跑步至鹿湖精舍!!
一如以往, 鹿湖精舍十分寧靜, 大家在附近稍作休息, 靜靜地吃一點早餐.

It was very cold and windy near Sham Wat, around 10C. Instead of walking slowly to fight with the strong wind,
we ran quickly for Luk Wu Monastery!!
As before, the beauty and silence of Luk Wu (Deer Lake) were so attractive and we stopped for a while,
having our breakfast nearby, didn't talk to each other, just enjoying the beauty and silence of this place.

先上小山坡, 開始看位於延慶寺後院的 "觀自在林" (觀世音菩薩又名觀自在菩薩), 裡面全是不同形象的觀世音菩薩像.

At the back of Yin Hing Monastery, there is a place called "Avalokitesvara Forest", or Guan-yin Forest (觀自在林),
with lots of statues of Avalokitesvara Bodhisattva (Guan-yin Bodhisattva), in different appearances.

"觀自在林" 內的觀音菩薩像, 全是根據佛教經典內 (如"《觀世音菩薩普門品》") 所描述的觀世音菩薩之不同形相而造.

The different appearances of Avalokitesvara Bodhisattva statues were made, based on the descriptions from Buddhist sutras.

今天覺修寺內仍有襌修活動.

There was still retreat program (mainly on meditation) undergoing @ Gak Su Temple today.

沿覺修寺旁的山路走, 途上有白色的西藏佛塔.

Walking via the path which is next to Gak Su Temple, we could see a white Tibetan Buddha Tower.

山路盡頭緊接可通向靈隱寺的石屎路.

The end of the mountain path is the beginning of another footpath leading to Ling Yan Monastery.

下羗山內的精舍. 最後可見古舊的"問路石", 靈隱寺的正門在附近.

There are some little monasteries @ Lower Keung Shan. Then at the end of the path,
we could see this old "Direction stone", showing the way to Luk Wu.
The main entrance of Ling Yan Monastery is nearby.
