We took KMB bus no. 64K @ Taipo Railway station, and then got off @ Ng Tung Chai bus-stop.
There're road signs showing the way to Man Tak Yuen Monastery.
(You can also start from Pak Ngau Shek, which is the previous bus-stop. If you start from Pak Ngau Shek, you'll pass Ng Tung Chai Village. If you don't want to walk inside the village, then you can start from Ng Tung Chai bus-stop.)
J
Ng Tung Chai village @ the bottom of the slope! We walked through Man Tak Path for the monastery.
J
Here we are @ the entrance of Man Tak Yuen Monastery! First we went into "Tai Mo Shan Country Park" which is next to Man Tak Yuen Monastery for a look.
There's the famous "Ng Tung Chai Waterfall area" inside, with 4 big and beautiful waterfalls!! As it was very hot today, we'll come again for a visit later in Autumn.
J
There's a mini waterfall @ the entrance of the country park, for "Ng Tung Chai Waterfall area". Also with the beautiful "Man Tak Stream".
We found this lovely beagle swimming under the mini waterfall!! It was very friendly and even jumped up from the water to play with me.
J
Back to Man Tak Yuen Monastery for photos~ many beautiful pavillions here!! Tachibana san had a photo with the "Crane fairy".
J
As we still had time, we walked downhill via the forest and back to the bus-stop. We took bus no. 64K again for Ling Wan Temple in Yuen Long.
J
We took bus no. 64K for Ling Wan Temple. There are 3-4 fierce dogs inside, with barking noises make the whole area "shaking"!!
There's a pond outside the temple, with lots of tortoises and frogs playing around.
J
Ling Wan Temple is not open for outsiders~ we were very lucky that a group of visitors came, and we followed them to go inside!!
Boddisattva Guan-yin is at the middle of the monastery, with lots of carps in the pond, and some even "jumped" up from the water!!
J
Wooow!! Datura are so beautiful! Tachibana san was "drugged" (The whole plant is TOXIC, Don't touch!!!) ?????
J
