今早大家在地鐵站集合後, 馬上乘車到哥連臣角巴士站. 掃墓??? 當然不是, 我們的起步點是巴士站旁的石澳郊野公園, 今日的目的地是石澳的大浪灣.
We gathered @ Shau Kei Wan MTR station this morning and then we went to Cape Collinson bus-stop by minibus. It is near the crematorium, but of course we were not here for a funeral!!! Our start point of today was Shek O Country Park, which is near the crematorium, and we were going to Big Wave Bay (@ Shek O) from here.

背後是砵甸乍山.
Pottinger Peak is at the back of Tachibana san.




到了馬塘坳, 有一片大草坪可供小休.
You can have a little bit rest @ this place -- Ma Tong Au (Pottinger Gap), which is along the catchwater of Mount Collinson.


這邊是哥連臣山.
This side is Mount Collinson.




又是行山交义點 -- 向前走是往小西灣的砵甸乍山郊遊徑, 向下走則是往大浪灣.
You can choose the way you like -- Go straight forward via Pottinger Peak Country Trail for Siu Sai Wan, or go downhill for Big Wave Bay.








下山通過林徑, 可往大浪灣. 沿途全是叢林, 內裡有不少竹樹.
We walked via the woods for Big Wave Bay, with trees and rocks all the way long, also with some bamboo trees!!


終於走到標柱 H100, 亦即是大浪灣村的所在.
Now we had reached Distance post H100, that is Big Wave Bay Village.






大浪灣村雖然偏遠, 但環境不錯, 有不少居民在此.
Big Wave Bay Village is a bit far to access, but there are still quite a number of residents here. It is not as crowded and noisy as Shek O, a nice place for surfing!!!






大浪灣的海浪非常強勁, 對泳客有點危險, 但絕對是滑浪者的天堂!!!
The waves are really so strong @ Big Wave Bay, quite challenging for swimmers, but it is sufers' paradise!!

沙灘旁有燒烤場, 由那裡上山, 可以看到 3000 年前的古代石刻.
There is a BBQ site @ the beach-side. Go uphill from there and you can find the ancient rock carving (over 3000 years old) at the cliff-side.

經大浪灣道步行向石澳.
We moved to the way for Shek O from Big Wave Bay Road for a bus / minibus.
