Half-day visit @ Chuen Lung, Tai Mo Shan

今天早上仍是陰陰暗暗, 不過沒有下雨, 很幸運!! 一致決定到比較近市區又交通方便的地方一行~~~ 大帽山的川龍!! 在荃灣地鐵站 B出口出發, 在兆和街登上 80號小巴, 轉眼已到了川龍村!! 這裡空氣還不錯, 位處大帽山的山腰非常清涼舒適, 還有水源不絕的大曹石澗.
Quite a cloudy morning but luckily NOT rainy!! We had made up our mind to go for Chuen Lung Village ~~ a place @ the country-side but also easily acceesible from the MTR station. Started from Exit B of Tsuen Wan MTR station, we walked to Shiu Wo Street nearby and got a minibus no.80. Just within 25 minutes, we arrived Chuen Lung Village minibus terminus. Chuen Lung Village is located @ the middle of Tai Mo Shan (the highest peak of HK), the mountain breeze makes this place much cooler than Tsuen Wan Town Centre. Oooops, we even could see "Tai Cho Stream" from here!!
村口的舊村校~~ 貫文學校, 就在荃錦公路旁.
An old village school already disused ~~ Koon Man Public School, @ Route TWISK (the highway which is linking up Tsuen Wan and Kam Tin).
有名的彩龍茶樓~~ 很多人慕名而來, 要一嘗她以大帽山山水所泡的中國茶!!! 雖然沒有素食點心供應, 不過有蒸腸粉, 白灼蔬菜及豆腐花, 一祭大家的五臟廟!!! :P
這裡是自助茶樓~~~ 客人自行拿取食物及自己泡茶, 在露天的地方來個一盎兩件, 亦很有特色!!
Very famous Chinese restaurant of Chuen Lung!!! Many people drive here for dim sum, a perfect place for outdoor "yum-cha"(Cantonese saying of drinking tea with dim-sum) !!! Imagine you can have your Cantonese breakfast (yum-cha) outdoors, with Chinese tea made from stream water of Tai Mo Shan peak?!?!? Sounds COOOL, isn't it!?!?! Especially a fine morning with mountain breeze everywhere.... hahaha!!!
Although no vegetarian dim-sum is available, there are steamed rice noodle rolls, fresh vegetables and sweet tofu pudding suitable for vegetarians.
This is also a self-service restaurant, get your dim sum and tea from the counter and enjoy your food indoors or outdoors as you like!!!!
經村內的主要車道前行...... 三生酒廠在此!!!!
Now we were walking along the main traffic road of Chuen Lung Village..... we saw something here.... Oh, it is Sam Seng Wine (Brewer)!! (A local brand of Chinese herbal wine)
往橫龍方向前進, 直至看見漁農處的小木屋, 亦是郊遊徑的入口.
Moving along the traffic road for Wang Lung, until you can see the green wooden house from the Agricultural, Fisheries and Conservation Department. Here is also the start point of different country trails.
踏上川龍林道, 向響石方向走.
We moved forward to Heung Shek via Chuen Lung Forest Track.
可愛又愛玩的唐狗, 成為今天的導遊, 但牠很貪玩, 還把沙吞下, 我們要阻止亦來不及!!!
Our 4-legged tour-guide walking and playing with us for an hour!! ~~ A lovely dog living near the forest track, it is very energetic but a bit naughty..... It was too late when we were trying to stop him from swallowing sand on the road..... (He vomited badly afterwards but quickly recovered, and then he began to jump happily again!!!! Incredible!!!)

上山去響石墳場一遊!!
Now we were going uphill for Heung Shek Cemetery.
一覽大帽山及山下的建築物, 想不到這裡亦可看見ICC!!!!
We could see Tai Mo Shan (peak) clearly from here, and even could see ICC building which is in West Kowloon!!!!
回到川龍村, 看見黑草羊及牛在馬路上閒逛.... 非常驚喜!!!
We all became very surprised when we were back to Chuen Lung Village~~ goats and a cow were walking on the traffic road and playing near the village houses!!!
