今天我們會一遊馬鞍山的昂平 (香港有兩個昂平, 一個是大佛附近, 另一個在馬鞍山!!), 為了一看在香港極為罕見的運動~~ 滑翔傘!! 雖然香港地少人多, 但仍有不少高山美景, 所以亦有一群玩滑翔傘的發燒友, 認真難得!!! 在彩虹地鐵站乘坐往西貢的小巴, 在波蘿輋下車, 然後沿著波蘿輋路一直上山, 直至看見小涼亭後, 再轉入北港坳路. 再向山上進發, 不要進入北港坳村, 向右前行, 直至到達茅坪村後, 再在村內的黃竹山新村路牌背後上山~~ 這裡又名大水井.
Today our plan is going to Ngong Ping of Sai Kung!! (Please note that there are 2 places with the name "Ngong Ping" in HK, one is near the Big Buddha in Lantau, the other one is in between Ma On Shan and Sai Kung!!)
We were going to Ngong Ping this morning for something very interesting ~~ To see the Paragliding Team of HK!! Yes, although HK is such a small place, there are still a number of paragliding-lovers practising @ this place frequently.... Let's go uphill to have a look!!
First take a minibus from Choi Hung MTR station (no. 1A for Sai Kung Pier), and then get off @ Po Lo Che. Then just walk uphill via Po Lo Che Road until you see a white pavilion (with lots of direction signs here!!)~~ Turn to Pak Kong Au Road and walk uphill along the traffic road, be sure that you are NOT going striaght to Pak Kong Au Village (stick to the right-hand side please)~~ you then will see the road sign for Ngong Ping New Village~~ keep on moving until you can see a single direction sign for "Wong Chuk Shan New Village", the road for the start point is just at the back of it~~ ** this place is called Tai Shui Tseng.

黃竹山新村的路牌後, 便是上山的小徑~~ 這裡是馬鞍山郊遊徑的入口了, 沿樓梯上山, 向昂平的方向進發.
There is a footpath at the back of the direction sign for "Wong Chuk Shan New Village", just walk along this road and you will see the start point of Ma On Shan Country Trail. Just walk upstairs for Ngong Ping.

往昂平全是天然泥石路, 有些路段較斜, 需要踏著石頭上山, 小心慢走.
The way for Ngong Ping is a bumpy forest track, some parts are quite steep, you need to step on many rocks in order to go up, a bit challenging and don't look back :P
