今早10時, 荃灣兆和街81號小巴站集合. 不過有很多人排隊, 上圓玄學院拜祭, 但亦很幸運, 很快便上車. 在總站圓玄學院下車, 沿旁邊的小路上山, 再向 "紫竹林四面佛" 的方向走.
(我們不是去看四面佛!!)

けさ、荃湾で８１番のミニバスに乗って、圓玄学院まで行った。そばにある道を通って、村のほうへ歩いた

We gathered @ minibus no.81 stop, at Shiu Wo Street, around 10am. But there were tens of people queuing up already. They were all going to Yuen Yuen Institue for ancestor worshipping.
But luckily we didn't wait too long before we could get into a minibus. We got off at the destination, that is, Yuen Yuen Institue.
Then walked along the traffic road next to it and then to the direction of Purple Bamboo Forest Temple,
that is the place for worshipping Brahma or Hiranyagarbha (4-faced God from Thailand), although we were not going to this temple.

香港很多四面神(四面佛)的信眾, 由泰國傳入, 但源自印度的婆羅門教. 是婆羅門教的創造之神, 名為梵天.
另一有趣的傳說, 是梵天為了看守著妻子辯才天女Shatarupa, 所以生出4個頭, 可以令他從四個方向都看到她!!!

There are many worshippers for Brahma (4-faced God, or 4-faced Buddha called by HK people) in HK. The worshipping of Brahma was brought to HK by Thai people,
but actually Brahma is from Brahmanism of India, not Buddhism. Brahma is the God of Creation in Brahmanism, and there's an interesting story about
the 4 faces (actually 4 heads!!)~

in order to protect his wife Shatarupa (Goddess of Wisdom), Brahma grew 4 heads from his body,
so that he can watch his wife clearly from 4 directions!! But Shatarupa always tried to escape from his eyes,
and once, even the 5th head came out from Brahma, but this crazy act made Shiva (God of Destruction) angry and cut the 5th head off from Brahma's body.

經過老圍, 田畦間有稻草人. (香港仍有稻草人!!! 新的田園已採用舊 CD, CD 的反光對阻嚇鳥類更有效)

案山子がある！！

A scare-crow @ the farmland of Lo Wai village. Can't imagine there's still scare-crow in HK!
Nowadays, the farmers use old CDs in stead of scare-crow. The reflection from CDs is more effective in scaring the birds!!

沿田邊的村路走, 突然發現一對來自青蛙界, 正在交配中的痴男怨女!! 怎麼我們行山經常遇到這些三級場面!!!
男隊友十分頑皮, 用手指輕拍蛙男的頭, 但青蛙男只抬起頭來看了我們幾個一眼, 便閉上眼睛繼續牠的大事, 倒一點也不害怕.

カエルは交配してた！！！

We walked along the village road along the farmland. Suddenly we found a couple of frogs mating on a rock!!
Why we always see such scenes!!! The naughty guys used their fingers to tap the male frog's head softly, but the male frog didn't scare,
it just looked at us for a few seconds, and then closed its eyes and enjoyed its "honeymoon" again!!!!!!!!!

A secret path leading upwards to a grave-yard, and then for the catchwater.

大圓石澗的引水道在此!! 但石澗已乾, 我們下引水道走了一會.

谷川がここだ！でも乾いてた

Here's part of the catchwater facilities of Tai Yuen Stream!! But the stream was dried!! So we walked down the catchwater to have a look @ the stream.

引水道全景!! 在旁有指示牌 "老圍鄉村食水缸", 附近有川龍的路牌, 後面便是往川龍及龍門郊遊徑的山路. 今天不往川龍, 返回引水道.

Here's the catchwater!! There's a sign "Lo Wai Village Water Tank", and next to it are the direction signs to Chuen Lung and Lung Mun Country Trail.
The path is just behind the catchwater. We were not going to Chuen Lung today, so we were back to the catchwater.

大圓石澗乾了, 不知今年會否很乾?

大圓谷川が乾いた！

Tai Yuen stream is dried already!! Will we have a very dry summer?

回程時, 居然4個人, 8隻眼都找不到今早上來的山路!!!! 只好從另一個小亭後的樓梯下山, 回圓玄學院旁.

帰りに亭の後ろにある道から

When we wanted to go back for Yuen Yuen Institue, even four of us couldn't find the way we went up the hill this morning!!!
So we walked downhill from the staircases at the back of this little pavilion, which can also lead us back to Yuen Yuen Institue.

從圓玄學院下山, 到了香海船廟. 附近有告示, 原來有小狗走失了, 希望牠快些被找回.

山を下りて、香海船寺まで歩いた

We went downhill from Yuen Yuen Institue, and arrived Heung Hoi Ship Temple (In the shape of a ship!!).
There's a notice for a missing dog nearby, hope it can be back with its family asap!!
