望東坑是個不為人知的地點, 處於竹篙灣近大陰附近. 人跡罕見, 但景色不錯, 有大量石澗可供遊山玩水.
Mong Tung Hang is a place not known by most people. It's in Penny's Bay, near Tai Yam. Although not many people go to this place, there are lots of streams for fun.

0945狄士尼地鐵站集合.
午前９時４５分ディズニーランド駅で集まった
We arrived @ Disney MTR station @ 0945.
向榮欣路方向前行, 會到達竹篙灣發電廠.
栄欣路のほうへ歩いて、竹篙湾の発電所まで
Walked to the way to Penny's Bay Power Station, at Wing Yan Road.
進入榮欣路
栄欣路に入った
Walked along Wing Yan Road.
入口即見有大水坑兩條, 可上山.
栄欣路の近くに、丘登れる水路がある

In front of Penny's Bay Power station.
步至榮欣路尾, 走左邊上山.
栄欣路の果てまで、左へ
Walked to the end of Wing Yan Road, went upwards from the left side.
左走上山後, 可見到上了鎖的引水道入口, 入口後有空隙可進入. 此處便是望東坑.
水路のゲートは鍵をかけてあった。隙間から入ってもいい。
Went up to the hill, we could see the entrance of Mong Tung Hang Catchwater. Although it is locked, there's an open area at the end of the gate, we entered the Catchwater from there.
上了鎖的引水道入口後, 等待大家到達便一起起步.
ゲートの後ろで、みんな集まった
We were waiting for all the team-mates at the back of the locked entrance.
望東坑探澗之旅, 正式開始!! 先向爬頭鼓方向前進.
望東坑で谷川の手探り旅、ここから始めよう！
Let's start our streams adventure of today! We walked to the way to Pa Tau Kwu first.
走了5分鐘, 已見望東坑13號石澗.
５分歩いて、望東坑の谷川１３番が見えた
We could see Mong Tung Hang Stream no.13 after walking for 5 mins.
望東坑14號石澗就在旁.
望東坑の谷川１４番はすぐそば
Mong Tung Hang Stream no.14 is just next to stream no.13.
到處有巨型野菌. 不要採摘, 可能有毒.
きのこがたくさん！採らないでください・・・毒があるだろう
Many wild mushrooms everywhere here... Poisonous? Don't know... NO picking please.
小心: 望東坑有很多火蟻, 今天被牠們咬了, 好痛 (褲腳碰到牠們)!! 感覺像火燒, 之後會有發炎+大水泡, 如有過敏者可能有生命危險!! 大家要注意!! 天氣轉熱, 這裡到處有很多昆蟲, 亦有蛇, 要小心不要踏到牠們, 免生危險!
危ない！！ここにアカカミアリがたくさんいる！今日、アカカミアリに刺された！火傷したほど痛かった！発疹したこともある！気をつけなさい！
There are lots of fire ants @ Mong Tung Hang. I had got a bite （sting??） from them today! It hurts!! The pain is just like fire-burn! Be careful when you come here for fun. The weather is getting warmer, insects are coming out to the ground, and so do the snakes! Be careful when you're walking along the catchwater, don't step on these little creatures!
望東坑16號坑在引水道盡頸. 沿16號坑上山, 可通向爬頭鼓.
望東坑の谷川１６番は水路の果てに。谷川１６番から上って、爬頭鼓まで着ける
Stream no.16 is at the end of the catchwater. From here, you can move upwards to reach Pa Tau Kwu. (Of course, it's a very long way to go!!)

谷川１６番の山道は、森に包まれた。へびにご注意！
The path from stream no.16 is surrounded by trees and grass. Beware of snakes!!
越上越多樹, 很陰森呢....
木が多いです。だんだん暗くなってきた～ちょっと恐ろしい
More and more trees around. Getting darker from here.
在林中影相時, 突然昌記叫:"唔好郁!! 垂低頭唔好望後面!!" 之後他拿起行山杖在空氣中揮舞, 我忽然聽到有"Zee-zee" 怪聲, 感到有長長的東西在我的背囊上經過.... 之後昌記很快扯著我跑, 再叫其他隊友下山... 原來, 剛才有一大蛇在身後經過, 嚇壞我們!!
みんな、谷川１６番の上の森で写真を撮ってるとき、いきなり、Nelsonさんは私に叫んだ～”動くな！後ろに向くな！”してから、Nelsonさんは棒で空気に舞うように打った。まもなく、後ろから、ジージーという音が出てきた。あと、何かがリュックサックの上で通った。Nelsonさんはすぐみんなを呼んで、森から逃げた。どうしたの？さっき、でっかい蛇は私の後ろを通った！！こわい！！
When we were taking photos in the forest, suddenly Nelson shouted,"Freeze!! Don't look back!" Then I saw him waving his hiking rod in the air and I heard "Zee-zee" and felt that there was something crawling on my sac and left.... Then Nelson pulled me away from the trees and told other team-mates to leave the forest. There was a Snake at my back!!! So scary!!
大蛇就在身後的其中一樹上, 昌記說大蛇見他揮動行山杖便急急離開. 不過大蛇怕我們會對牠不利, 一直在樹上伸出頭部來看著我們, 待我們下山才縮回樹上.
へびさんはNelsonさんの行いが怖かった。みんな逃げるまでにずっと木の上でわたしたちを睨んだ。みんな逃げたあと、へびさんも消えた。
The snake was @ one of the trees at the back. It was scared when Nelson waved his hiking rod in the air, so it left quickly. But it was very alert, it kept on looking at us until we all went downwards. It crawled back to the trees until we were not around.
有驚無險, 安全下山.

むこうの谷川１５番へ歩いた
Walked to the opposite side to reach stream no.15.
15號坑後面, 有山路可通草灣. 不過, 剛從蛇口脫險, 大家都決定不上山了.
谷川１５番の後ろは、草湾までの道がある。でも、まだ蛇に遇うことに怖くて、上りたくなかった
There's a forest path leading to Tso Wan at the back of stream no.15. We were scared we may meet more snakes, we didn't go upwards this time.

望東坑的山路至此終結. 要去大陰, 便要穿過森林了, 惟有在此回程.
望東坑からの歩道はここで終わります。大陰に行きたいとき、森を通らなきゃいけない
The end of the catchwater of Mong Tung Hang. If you want to move to Tai Yam, you have to walk through the forests. So we went back from here and ended our trip of Stream adventure.

時間尚早, 大家回欣澳乘巴士去愉景灣, 再探虎白石澗!!
あと、欣澳でバスでDiscovery Bayへ行って、虎白谷川へ
Still have much time, we all back to Sunny Bay and took a bus to Discovery Bay, to have a visit to Fu-pak stream.
海燕徑下車, 愉景山道起行.
愉景山道からはじめた
Started from Discovery Valley Road.
路上有入澗位, 可往虎白石澗下游的小湖.
まず、虎白谷川の下流へ歩いて、滝つぼを見に行った
Here's the entrance of the pond at the lower stream of Fu-pak stream.
向著大樹下小坡, 可見到湖.
木のほうに降りて、湖が見られます
Walk to the tree and you can see the pond at the bottom.
湖畔小休, 午飯時間了... 現在已是1330.
いま午後１時３０分。湖で休憩
Had a rest near the pond. Now already 13:30, we had our lunch here.
湖畔午飯, 真的一大樂!! 今天的午餐是麵包+水.....
谷川での昼ごはん！パンと水だけ？
Our lunch today was~~ Bread and water!
小湖景色優美, 小遊首選.

The scene @ the pondside is great!!
溪壺的水很急, 小心別掉下去.
流れは速く滝つぼに流れた。滑りやすいから、気をつけて
The water was moving very quickly @ the stream basin. Don't fall down.
陽光很猛, 大家都回到樹下休息.
日差しが強かった。みんな木の下で座った
Very shiny outside. We all stayed under the trees for fun.
回到車路, 看看石澗下游旁的橋.
谷川の下流～橋の下に
Back to the main road. Here's a bridge near the lower stream.
經秘密通道下"虎白石澗" (回程時一頭撞在此指示牌上... 險些受傷)! 今天很多在附近居住的外國人家庭, 一家老少連小狗都下了石澗渡週末!! 內有很多人+狗仔!!
虎白谷川へこのひみつの道から～！！今日、たくさん外人の家族はここまで、犬も連れてきた
A secret path leading to the stream!! Today, many people living nearby brought their dogs to play at the waterfall!
秘密通道後是樹林小徑, 很暗, 小心慢走.
入ってから、暗い道。
A forest path is right here when you walk into the secret path. It's quite dark here, be careful.
抓著樹前進, 很快見到瀑布.
数分かかって、滝が見えた
Moved forward and we could see the waterfall in just a few mins.

The rocks are quite slippery.
又見一家外藉家庭來石澗玩. 小狗在石澗旁玩得很快樂.
また外国人の家族はここに。犬は楽しく遊んだ
Another family arrived for weekend. The dog was playing happily at the stream.

We ran out of food and water. So we left and walked to the pier to enjoy our tea-time.
