今早來到東涌後, 天色轉暗, 有點小雨. 大家決定不去愉景灣, 改為到附近的赤立角短遊. 今天亦順道為剛成立的 "UFO 及科幻小說同好會" (UFO & Sci-fi book readers club) 慶祝一下.
When we arrived Tung Chung MTR station this morning, it started to rain.... so we switched to a short walk nearby~~ going to Chek Lap Kok Island! Also to "celebrate" our first gathering for setting up "UFO & Sci-fi book readers club"!! Cheers!!
從達東路花園起步, 經天橋到對面的赤立角南路. 看到赤立角時, 天色居然放晴!!!! 這裡便是赤立角惟一剩下沒有給填海的觀景山, 海邊昔日名為過路灣.
Started from Tat Tung Road Garden, we walked via a pedestrian flyover and reached the opposite side, where we can see a beautiful little hill~~ yes, this is Chek Lap Kok Island, the name of this little hill is Scenic Hill, which is the ONLY part of Chek Lap Kok Island NOT included in the reclamation project. The seaside was called "Kwo Lo Wan" in the past. The rain stopped and became sunny when we just arrived!!!!
到了赤立角, 沿紅色的緩跑徑前進, 到了過路灣路後轉右, 會看到機場古物園. 再續走, 會看見觀賞中華白海豚的路牌, 再前走便會到海邊. 但別妄想可看到海豚, 海上交通繁忙, 海豚都給嚇跑了.
When we had arrived Chek Lap Kok, we walked along the red runners' trail for Kwo Lo Wan Road. Turn right and we can see HK International Airport Historical Garden. Just keep on walking along the road, then there is a direction sign for "Chinese white dolphin" which shows you the way for the seaside. But as the marine traffic is so busy, it is just like a miracle to find a dolphin here!!!
到了海邊, 在北大嶼山公路下面. 對岸是東涌.
Now @ the seaside, under North Lantau Highway, the opposite side is Tung Chung Town.
在叢林中找尋下山至過路灣沙灘的路, 但找不到. 後來問釣魚的人, 原來要在東涌租小艇才能到達, 沿山路走下海邊極之危險, 只好放棄.
We were looking for a path downhill for the beach @ Kwo Lo Wan inside the bushes, but we couldn't find any. So we asked those who were fishing nearby, and they told us we have to hire a boat from Tung Chung in order to reach the beach, it is very dangerous to climb downhill from the woods. So we just went back to the "lookout" point for white dolphins.
沿海邊走, 找到一大片草地, 我們在此看書及慶祝 UFO fans 讀書會的成立.
We found a big piece of grass near the seaside and had fun here!! Sitting on the grass, we read Sci-Fi books and talked about many related topics, also with a little bit of celebration for our "UFO & SF book readers club"!!!!

突然天色又轉暗, 大家返回觀景路.
It suddenly turned very dark and we rushed to Scenic Road.
到了另一邊的海邊(觀景路), 突然暴雨來臨, 大家變成水鴨.
Heavy rain in a sudden when we were @ the seaside of Scenic Road!!
離開赤立角, 返回東涌. 雨下的赤立角, 景色不錯.
We left Chek Lap Kok and back to Tung Chung. Beautiful snapshot of Chek Lap Kok under the rain.
