今天來了愉景灣行山!! 愉景灣, 不只是住宅, 其實也是一個行山的好地方. 交通亦算方便, 可行附近的短線, 可行中線去梅窩, 亦可走長途至欣澳, 再步至大青洲亦可!!(真的超遠!! 亨利行過, 要10小時!!)
一直聽昌記他們說, 愉景灣的山上有一個很大很美麗的瀑布, 源自老虎頭, 長年水源不絕, 流入愉景灣的水塘及大白灣, 以前名叫"虎白石澗". 今天便特地來一賞"虎白石澗". 通向"虎白石澗"很多途徑, 如果要行石屎路, 可經通往Golf club 的車路, 中途會經水塘.
在偉倫小學對面亦有較崎嶇不平的山路. 此路最斜最難走.
不過, 隊友都認為一場來到, 應選山路而行. 所以我們今天選中級的山路, 經寶峰徑的車路上山, 再由寶林閣對面的山徑上老虎頭的下段, 上望"虎白石澗". 這段山路有點難度, 因為早段有多處倒塌及凹陷, 不過小心上行的確有挑戰性.
Today we were here in Discovery Bay for hiking. Discovery Bay is a good place for hiking. You can walk around the hillside, and you can also walk to Mui Wo, if you like something in long distance, you can choose the route which is leading to Yam O (Sunny Bay), and also you can even walk to Tai Tsing Chau.
We came here today was to visit a big waterfall which is originated from Lo Fu Tau, and the stream flowing down to the reservoir and Tai Pak bay (Discovery Bay beach)
There are a number of routes leading to Lo Fu Tau, a concrete road which is going up to the Golf Club, in which you can see the reservoir and waterfall.
There's also a route at the opposite side of Wai Lun School, which is the most difficult one to walk through.
Today, we chose the mountain trail which starts from Woodland Court (@ Parkvale Village), which is an "Intermediate" trek.
Some parts of this track are quite steep, eroded and sandy. But if you walk slowly, it is very still interesting, and a little bit challenging.

愉景山道左轉. 如一直前行上哥爾夫球會亦可上山. 不過, 今天會行山徑, 不走行人路.

Turned left and walked into Discovery Valley Road. If you keep on walking towards the Golf Club, you can also see the waterfall. But today, we walked up to the mountain trail in stead of the pedestrian road.

We already could see one of the streams of "Fu-pak stream" and part of the waterfall here. Actually it's much more beautiful at the higher stream area.

If keep on moving upwards, you can reach Mountains Lo Fu Tau and Lau Fa Tung.

地圖上有今早行過的山路(看右下角, 寶峰上所繪的虛線), 我們今早只行了老虎頭的山腳, 上行仍有大量源自老虎頭的石澗河道呢.

The route we had walked this morning~ The dotted line above "Parkvale Village" near the bottom right side of the map. There are still a number of rivers and streams at the higher part of the hill. The waterfall we saw this morning is just ONE of them. The streams are all originated from Lo Fu Tau,
as indicated on the map.
離開山路, 步入愉景灣道, 向隧道的方向走去.

不小心掉進了引水道. 腳很痛, 沒有跟大家去石澗玩, 只好回市區....

I fell into this catchwater path by accident and my leg became aching. So I had to leave and couldn't go to the stream area with my team-mates....
