(大埔火車站→20C 小巴→大美督總站→大美督燒烤場→船灣淡水湖主壩→白沙頭洲→鐵閘旁入口→船灣淡水湖郊遊徑→東頭洲碼頭→船灣淡水湖副壩  [排洪壩] 底部→赤門海峽→副壩頂→東頭洲→南壩 + 北壩 [排洪壩]→伯公咀上山→原路回主壩→大美督)

(Tai Po Market Railway Station→Minibus no. 20C→Tai Mei Tuk minibus terminus→Tai Mei Tuk BBQ site→Plover Cove Reservoir main dam→Pak Sha Tau [Harbour Island]→Enter from the gate at the left [Water Supplies Dept]→Plover Cove Reservoir Country Trail→Tung Tau Chau Pier→The bottom of Subsidiary dam [flood relief]→Tolo Channel→The top of Subsidiary dam→Tung Tau Chau island→Southern & Northern Subsidiary dams  [flood relief]→Go uphill from Pak Kung Tsui→Back to the main dam from the same route→Back to Tai Mei Tuk minibus terminus)
