今天相當清涼, 我們很早便到了城門郊野公園, 從小巴站起步, 向燒烤場方向走, 先到主壩那一邊遊覽.
It was much cooler this morning and we arrived Shing Mun Country Park early in the morning. We started our walk from the minibus terminus (no. 82) and first we turned to the way for the main dam and BBQ sites.










走上主壩的大橋.
Now we were walking along the main dam.




主壩大橋的盡頭, 向左是緩跑徑, 向右是麥理浩徑, 上樓梯則通往畔塘徑, 繞水塘一個圈.
The end of the main dam bridge -- Turn left for the jogging path, or turn right for MacLehose's Trail. You can also walk upstairs for the Reservoir Walk.




此地危險???? 進入一探, 內有小瀑布及岩壁, 風景還不錯呢.
DANGER - NO ENTRY???? We went for a look..... see, we found a waterfall and some big rocks around, the scene was not bad!!!




雖然已是冬天, 但路上的楓香樹仍未變紅, 非常失望.
Although it is already winter, the leaves of the sweet gum trees are still not turning red..... very disappointed....


繼續沿畔塘徑向荃灣方向走, 今天親眼目睹有猴子王強搶遊人的袋子, 還被牠拋到山下, 幸好有位叔叔及時撿回. 大家來水塘時袋子萬勿離身!!!
We continued our walk along the Reservoir Walk to the way for Tsuen Wan. I saw a huge monkey jumping down from the trees and grabbed a hiker's bag away. The monkey even threw her bag down the slope!!!! Luckily a helpful hiker came and got her bag back!!! Next time when you come here, please don't put down your bags, and NEVER eat or drink during the walk!!!




水塘區深處, 有白千層樹林, 此地遊人較少, 非常寧靜.
Deep inside the forest area -- we were surrounded by paper barks!!!! Not so many people come to this part and the air was so fresh and cool!!


有遊人製了竹橋方便過河, 真要謝謝他們!!!!
Many many thanks to the hikers who had made this "bridge" with bamboo!!!! We can cross the river without making our shoes wet!!!


過了竹橋來到森林的另一邊.
Now we were @ the other side of the forest.




又有另一道橋.....
We had to cross another river again....








來到湖邊, 湖水像綠寶石般發亮, 這裡遊人更稀少, 但景色真的很美!!!
Now we were @ the pond-side, with water shining like emerald!!!! Only a few visitors came for this place, the beautiful scenes are really amazing!! You can't imagine this place is in HK!


順道一遊大城石澗.
Now @ Tai Shing Stream.






離開大城石澗, 繼續經畔塘徑往菠蘿壩方向走, 途中有秘道 (安全樓梯) 可通往另一個湖區, 這裡地方更大, 湖景比剛才的湖區更美!!!!!!
Leaving Tai Shing Stream and we kept on walking along the Reservoir Walk, to the way for Pineapple Dam. There are staircases leading to another wider forest area with a much bigger lake!!!!! We are so lucky to see so many beautiful scenes today!!!!!








走到湖後的森林, 原來這裡更大!!!!!!!!! 有點像回到加拿大的郊區, 當然這裡是迷你版本.
We went to the woods behind the lake.... wooow, the area is much wider!! A bit look like a "miniature version" of the countryside of Canada.

Now the last part of our scenic visit.....




終點 -- 菠蘿壩的遊客中心, 下樓梯便回到小巴站, 我們已繞著水塘走了一個圈, 6.3 公里.... 已經16:30了.....
The end point --- Shing Mun Country Park Visitor Centre, near Pineapple Dam. We had walked for 6.3km around the whole Shing Mun Reservoir. Now the time was 16:30 and you can go downstairs for the minibus terminus from here.
