天氣越來越熱, 實在無法上山, 在天氣稍涼之前, 都會改往海邊遊樂. 今早在鑽石山地鐵站出發, 乘坐 91號巴士至清水灣總站下車, 再下走長長的樓梯至清水灣二灘消暑.
It is getting so hot these weeks and we really cannot go up the mountains for fun!!! For the next 2-3 months (before getting cooler), we will go to the seaside / beach for short walks in stead of hiking. Started from Diamond Hill MTR station, we took a KMB bus no.91 and got off @ the Clear Water Bay terminus. Then we walked downstairs for Clear Water Bay Second Beach.












今早來到清水灣時已經有攝氏 32度!!!! 熱得驚人!!! 沿著清水灣二灘走, 太陽異常猛烈, 不過景色亦美得驚人 (太誇張了!! Hahaha!!).
It was already 32°C (around 90°F) when we arrived Clear Water Bay early in the morning!!!! Very very strong sunshine all over the beach as we were walking along the seaside -- with beautiful scenes everywhere!!!




清水灣二灘的另一邊 -- 泳客較少, 海水非常清澈, 可以看見水底!!! 果然無負清水灣之名!! 希望遊人不要污染此地!!
Now we were @ another side of Clear Water Bay --- only a few swimmers were here this morning, the water was so clear that we could see the bottom!!! This is why this place is called "Clear Water Bay"?!?!? :D
Hope the visitors leave room for the nature, don't make this place a mess!!!








在"巨石陣" 中穿梭, 石頭在猛烈的陽光照射下熱得像燒紅了的鐵板, 不想被烤熟千萬不要坐上去.
Walking along the seaside among these big rocks under the sun, we felt like being "grilled"!! The rocks were so hot like stone-grill plates, you will get hurt if you sit on them!!


遠看像小食亭, 原來是救生員用的.
It looks like a food kiosk, but for lifeguards.....






經山路往清水灣第一灘, 原來山上比海邊更涼爽!!!
A hillside path for Clear Water Bay First Beach, much cooler when we were walking along the hill!!!




大約步行 10分鐘便到達清水灣第一灘.
We were @ Clear Water Bay First Beach after a 10-minute's walk.




第一灘遊人不多, 不過地方比較細.
Not many visitors were @ the First Beach, but it is much smaller than the Second Beach.








爬到大石上, 風景更美, 後面是山崖, 由於沒有小路可往海邊, 要在這邊暢泳, 便要爬石下去海邊. 由於有點危險, 這裡空無一人, 只有男隊友爬石下去海邊游泳.
We climbed up this big rock for sightseeing --- very beautiful scene for the whole beach!!! There is a cliff at our back, and with another little beach under the rock. The water is so clear at this side. As there is NO footpath leading down to this little beach, usually NO swimmers come for this side. Only the guys from our team climbed down from this hot rock for swimming this afternoon, well done guys!!!


男子組在崖邊暢泳時, 我們女子組在岸邊漫遊..... 後面就是有名的釣魚翁山 (右), 雖然今天熱得驚人, 但仍有行山人士登上山頂!!!!
When the guys were having great fun @ the beach near the cliff, we girls had a short walk along the First Beach. We could see High Junk Peak (right) at our back. Although it was very hot and humid this afternoon, there were some brave hikers walking to the hilltop!!!!!


原路回到第二灘, 已是下午 2 時, 氣溫是攝氏 35度!!!!
We were back to the Second Beach and it was 14:00.... with the temperature rose to 35°C!! Oh Buddha!!!

夏日炎炎心寒之旅 -- 大埔梅樹坑昔日猛鬼古廟 -- 常寂園
Experienced a Chilled summer Saturday -- Visit to the old haunted temple @ Mui Shue Hang Park, Tai Wo, Taipo

(太和火車站 A 出口→太和廣場→寶雅苑→寶雅路→單車徑入口→梅樹坑路→梅樹坑遊樂場→梅樹坑村→原路回程)
(Exit A of Tai Wo Railway Station→Tai Wo Plaza→Po Nga Court→Po Nga Road→Entrance of the cycling trail [for Sheung Shui and Fanling] →Mui Shue Hang Road→Mui Shue Hang Playground→Mui Shue Hang Village→Back from the same way)

夏日炎炎, 又是新界市郊半日遊. 從太和火車站 A出口起步, 經太和廣場內的扶手電梯下去地面, 外面是寶雅路 (寶雅苑旁). 沿寶雅路前行 (往大埔公路方向), 過了馬路便是單車徑的入口. 進入單車徑旁的行人路, 很快便會接入梅樹坑路.
Again it was another hot and windless Saturday and no hiking in the countryside this afternoon. Started from Exit A of Tai Wo Railway station, we went downstairs to the ground floor by the escalator inside Tai Wo Plaza. Walking along Po Nga Road (near Po Nga Court) to the way for Tai Po Road, then we crossed the road and entered the cycling trail, which leads to Mui Shue Hang Road.




到了梅樹坑遊樂場
Now we were @ Mui Shue Hang Playground.














終於到了常寂園 -- 一座位於梅樹坑公園內的古寺. 此古廟昔日有很多鬧鬼傳聞, 後來經過修葺, 一度很新淨, 但近年又再關閉, 現在又開始變得陰陰森森了.
Finally we arrived "Sheung Chik Yuen", an old temple inside Mui Shue Hang Playground. There were lots of rumours about this place, many people claim that this temple is haunted (Not sure (:-P).
Renovation work was done to this temple years ago, but it has become unattended again....




常寂園內的觀音像, 地藏菩薩及阿彌陀佛.
Inside the temple -- Statues of Avalokitesvara Bodhisattva, Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva and Buddha Amitabha.




公園內很多老榕樹
There are many old Chinese banyan trees in the park.








梅樹坑村 -- 一條在天橋下的隱世小村落.
Now we were "marching" to Mui Shue Hang Village, a small village under the flyovers.

Farmlands and orchards of Mui Shue Hang Village --- enough to feed themselves!!






很快便完成梅樹坑之行, 雖然地方小小, 但非常寧靜, 炎炎夏日來此一行, 的確不錯.
Now we had finished our walk for Mui Shue Hang. Although this place is quite small, we still enjoyed a great time here!!!!
