鹽田仔村觀光接待處, 不過今早天熱太熱(36℃) 沒有旅客, 所以要下午才有船出海.

As it is very hot today (36℃), no visitors came for a ticket this morning, we have to wait for the first ride which may be available after noon time.

在西貢碼頭找街渡公司, 最後找到肥婆船務有開往鹽田仔的街渡, 不過也要在正午才有船.

買了船票後, 去了附近的士多買飲品及麪包當午餐.

Looking for other ferry service companies along Sai Kung Pier (really very hot!!), we finally got a ticket for Yim Tin Tsai from "Fei Por Ferry Services" (The rainbow flag with a fat lady with sunglasses).

The ferry will come at noon, so we still have time to buy more cold drinks and bread from convenient stores near the pier.

天氣太熱, 本來星期六應該人來人往的西貢碼頭, 今天遊人稀少.

Due to the severe heatwave, there are only a few visitors along Sai Kung Pier this morning.

Usually it is very very crowded on Saturdays.

出發去鹽田仔!!! 今天只有我們去鹽田仔, 其他乘客都是留在船上作環島遊.

Let's start our ride for Yim Tin Tsai!!!!!

We are the only tourists alight for Yim Tin Tsai, other passengers are going for "Sai Kung Round the Islands Ride", without leaving the boat.

船上沒有冷氣, 但海風更清涼.

NO air-con on the boat but we can enjoy the more powerful sea breeze.

雖然很熱, 但白沙洲一樣人山人海, 非常好玩.

Although it is very hot this afternoon, lots of people are swimming / kayaking / SUP boards on Pak Sha Chau.

Nice place to go if you like water sports.

(An uninhabited island without public transport, use your own way to go)

烈日當空, 有37℃ 了.

The sun is overhead, it's already 37℃.

鹽田仔村的茶座, 今天有很多人在沙灘玩獨木舟, 茶座非常熱鬧.

A cafe of Yim Tin Tsai Village, lots of people came for kayaking today and the cafe is crowded.

往墳場之山路上山

The direction for the graveyard.

不再前往墳場, 去另一邊往玉帶橋

Don't go to the graveyard now but turn to the other side for Jade Girdle Bridge.

走到玉帶橋, 要去對岸的滘西洲

要應付37℃ 高溫下行山, 今天帶了三公升甜凍飲, 薯片及麫包, 還有三個手提風扇.

Now we have arrived Jade Girdle Bridge, cross the bridge for Kau Sai Chau @ the opposite side.

To deal with hiking under 37℃ such high temperature, I have brought 3L of sweet cold drinks, potato chips & bread, and also with 3 long-life battery handheld fans.

原本計畫:

1. 走半小時往高爾夫球場的碼頭, 但如果太熱, 會立即原路回程. OR

2. 走半小時往高爾夫球場的碼頭, 屆時應該糧水用完, 然後在滘西洲買回去西貢的船票, 再留在馬會的餐廳吃下午茶, 可以的話, 在高爾夫球場玩到晚上才回去西貢.

Our original plans:

1. Hiking for 30 mins from Yim Tin Tsai to Kau Sai Chau Jockey Club Golf Course, but if it is too hot to continue, we will stop and go back to Yim Tin Tsai immediately.

OR

2. Hiking for 30 mins from Yim Tin Tsai to Kau Sai Chau Jockey Club Golf Course, then buy a ticket for Sai Kung Pier @ the golf course, and stay @ the Jockey Club Restaurant for a tea buffet and see whether we can have some fun @ the golf course (there is a short golf training course for beginners!) and go back to Sai Kung Pier before 22:00.

有片濕地, 下去休息, 飲水及吃午餐.

再上山, 太熱, 3公升凍飲已所餘無幾, 不足夠到達馬會.

大家一起回 鹽田仔村, 村內有茶座可以休息吃西瓜.

Back to the hiking trail but we are running short of cold drinks, seems that not enough for the rest of the hike to Jockey Club.

We go back to Yim Tin Tsai Village instead, there are some village cafes for cold drinks, smoothie and chilled fruit at that side.

在村內吃了點小食及水果凍飲之後, 趕去碼頭坐街渡回西貢.

After having some snacks, cold drinks and fruit inside the village cafe, we rushed to the pier and take a ferry back to Sai Kung Pier.

Back to Sai Kung Pier and this time we are @ berth no.8.

雖然昨日已經立秋, 但18:00 的西貢碼頭, 天色仍光亮, 仍有33℃!!

According to the traditional Chinese calendar, autumn came yesterday (1st day of autumn), but it is still very hot at 18:00 near Sai Kung Pier, with temperature 33℃!!

The sky is still blue and bright.
