最近非常熱, 不使用帳篷, 用吊床, 露營椅及太陽傘算了.

Very very hot these days, too hot to use a tent for day camping, just use hammock, camping chair and a big umbrella.

Game corner - a wild swing.

山友的大吊床, 他們會在此過夜, 我在日落時回東涌.

A big twin hammock for two!!! My friends are going to stay for a night but I'm going back to Tung Chung around sunset time.

The hiking trail we walked to explore Tuk Ngu Shan today is the easiest and shortest way to go, as the temperature is over 33C this afternoon.

Walking on the shortest and most hiker-friendly footpath is to avoid heat stroke / accident on such a hot afternoon.

We didn't go to the summit of Tuk Ngu Shan this afternoon.

There is also another footpath near Long Ke Campsite for Tuk Ngu Shan, which is more close to the trig station (summit) of Tuk Ngu Shan.

We will go for this trail after autumn or early winter. Stay tuned.

Today, our team -- Tuk-ngu (Lonesome) team is going to enter Tuk Ngu Shan (Lonesome Peak) and have a sightseeing tour of High Island Reservoir.

返回大路, 向標尖角方向前進, 直至看到這個路牌.

路牌後面, 穿過樹叢便是獨孤山

Back to the main footpath and walk towards Biu Tsim Kok Lookout.

Stop when you see this road signage.

Tuk Ngu Shan / Lonesome Peak is at the back of the road signage.

到了獨孤山, 這是最安全及最短的小路. (登上山頂除外)

This is the shortest and safest way to reach Tuk Ngu Shan (except going to the summit / trig station), especially on such a HOT HOT HOT day.

後方的狹窄山路可以登上獨孤山的山頂, 不過今天太熱, 不上山頂了.

上去山頂的路不是容易行走.

The narrow hiking path at Pranky's back can lead you to the summit of Tuk Ngu Shan / Lonesome Peak.

We didn't go to the hilltop trig station this afternoon, the hiking trail for the summit is quite a challenging one, we may go up when the weather is much cooler.

天氣實在太熱, 很快便走回大路, 找了個有山風的小樹林休息, 午睡及吃零食.

今天在這裡睡了數小時, Hahaha!!

It is really too hot this afternoon, we left Lonesome Peak and went back to the main road.

We found a good place facing Lonesome Peak with mountain breeze behind some bushes.

Time to lie down for a nap, have some snacks and cold drinks here for the rest of the day.

Slept for a few hours......

夕陽西下, 其實已經六時多, 今天一直在樹林中午睡.

Sunset time.... it was after 18:15, the place is still bright before 19:00 during summer time.

Spent half of the day sleeping under the trees, cozy!!
