終於進入三王來朝小堂參觀  

Finally we are inside the Epiphany of Our Lord Chapel.

深涌私人營地

榕樹澳的濕地, 對面是馬鞍山 / 大金鐘

The wetland of Yung Shue O. The opposite side is Ma On Shan / Pyramid Hill.

由大學站步行到馬料水碼頭, 大約需要 15-20 分鐘.

It takes you 15-20 mins' walk from University MTR station to Ma Liu Shui Public Pier.

看到深涌了.

Sham Chung is in front of our eyes.

由十四鄉三杯酒碼頭亦可來到深涌, 不過要在網上購票.

There is another ferry for Sham Chung on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays.

You can take this ferry from Sam Pui Chau (3 glasses of wine, a very small outlying island) pier in Tseng Tau Village (Shap Sze Heung, Sai Sha Road, Sai Kung).

You have to buy tickets online, boarding is restricted for ticket holders, no walk-in seats available.

Epiphany of Our Lord Chapel

老式碗, 可能是古董級別.

Very old bowls, maybe antique-grade (over 50 years)

This kind of ceramic bowls with floral print (flowers which are common in South China) were very popular in HK during 1960-80s.

Some with rooster logo.

今日有幸進入深涌三王來朝小堂參觀.

小小的教堂很舒適, 旁邊是村校.

So blessed we have a chance going into Epiphany of Our Lord Chapel for a visit.

A small but beautiful chapel, with a classroom next to it (it was also a village school in the past).

This side is the classroom of the village school. 

深涌私人營地.

Sham Chung School (1955) abandoned inside the woods.

李家大屋, 今日是小餐館.

Lee's Mansion (war relic), it's also a village cafe.

Looking back to Epiphany of Our Lord Chapel we visited this afternoon.

So beautiful!!

離開深涌, 向榕樹澳村進發, 要步行 45分鐘左右.

對岸是烏溪沙 / 十四鄉一帶.

Leaving Sham Chung and continue with our walk for Yung Shue O Village, it takes us about 45 mins for this walk.

The opposite side is Wu Kai Sha / Shap Sze Heung.

榕樹澳深山內, 原來有一間小食堂.

Quite surprised to find a little restaurant inside the woods of Yung Shue O Village.

Food and drinks available during the long walk, very good.

榕樹澳的濕地真美, 不枉此行.

Very beautiful mangrove and wetland in Yung Shue O, worth to walk for 45 mins.

到達榕樹澳村.

Finally we have arrived Yung Shue O Village.

Yung Shue O Pavilion. 

別了榕樹澳村, 向水浪窩巴士站進發.

這段 5.5公里的引水道, 步程要一小時.

由於已經17:45, 引水道途中沒有街燈, 要在入黑前走到西沙路, 走得很急.

Leaving Yung Shue O and our last part of the walk is for Shui Long Wo bus-stop.

We have to walk on this long catchwater (5.5 km) for one hour.

The sunset time is 18:30 and now it's already 17:45, we have to walk as quickly as we can before sunset, as there are NO street lamps along the road.

We may be hit by cars if we are still walking on the road when it is dark.

突然大雨, 幸好已經在企嶺下老圍附近, 很快便到西沙路.

Heavy rain poured down suddenly!!!

Luckily we are now near Kei Ling Ha Lo Wai Village, just near Sai Sha Road.
