今天天氣甚佳, 一於來個港島市郊小登山!!! 在筲箕灣地鐵站出發, 乘 9號巴士於哥連臣角站下車, 再沿港島徑向大浪灣的方向進發.
Fine and cool this morning, perfect for a little bit of mountain walk. Started from Shau Kei Wan MTR station, we took bus no.9 and got off @ Cape Collinson bus-stop. From there, we started our walk via Hong Kong Trail, to the way for Big Wave Bay (Tai Long Wan).




沿大浪灣方向前走, 很快到了馬塘坳 (有涼亭及一片草地). 在草地上吃了早餐後, 開始今天的小登山 -- 經砵甸乍山郊遊徑往小西灣!!! 途中會一登 312米高的砵甸乍山!
We were walking along the road for Big Wave Bay and within 15 minutes, we reached Ma Tong Au (with a pavilion and a big piece of grass). We had breakfast here and then started our mountain walk -- to reach the top of Pottinger Peak (Height: 312m) via Pottinger Peak Country Trail, along the catchwater leading to Siu Sai Wan.


今天不去大浪灣, 續行向小西灣方向走.
We were not going to Big Wave Bay (Tai Long Wan) today, so we kept on walking to Siu Sai Wan.




看見往哥連臣角道的路牌, 旁邊另有小路可往大浪灣, 先向往大浪灣的小路看一下.
There is a direction sign for Cape Collinson Road, and there is also a footpath for Big Wave Bay (Tai Long Wan) here, we tried to have a look @ the footpath for Big Wave Bay first.


往大浪灣的小路, 風景出乎意料地美麗, 路旁有觀景亭, 可以一覽大浪灣及石澳的海景.
What a paradise!!! There is a pavilion at the hillside for sightseeing, we spent some time here with the beautiful seaviews of Big Wave Bay and Shek O.








美景鑑賞團出動!!!!! 大浪灣及石澳的海景美得像油畫, 不來此地一遊是你的損失!!!
The seaviews of Big Wave Bay and Shek O look like beautiful paintings!!!! Have a walk here, NO regret at all!!!


返回砵甸乍山郊遊徑, 上山前往砵甸乍山.
Back to Pottinger Peak Country Trail and continued our walk for Pottinger Peak.

山上的小小廟宇.
A little temple @ the hillside.








小廟宇後面, 有小路可往砵甸乍山觀景台.
There is a footpath at the back of the temple, which is for Pottinger Peak View Compass.




在 C4203 的路標旁, 有往哥連臣角道的指示牌 (在砵甸乍山觀景台對面), 旁邊有上山的樓梯, 可到達砵甸乍山的山頂.
Just near the distance post C4203, there is a direction sign for Cape Collinson Road, which is at the opposite side of Pottinger Peak View Compass. There are steps leading to the top of Pottinger Peak.






登上砵甸乍山, 沿途可見大量海景, 邊看邊向山頂進發.
Now we were @ Pottinger Peak, with beautiful seaview around us!!!! Now we were moving up to the hilltop!!!






在山頂附近, 發現了戰時的炮台!!!!
We found an old fort near the top of Pottinger Peak!!!






在炮台內遊玩.
We had fun inside the fort.




終於到達山頂了!!!!
Wooooow!! We have made it!!! Now we were @ the top of Pottinger Peak.




山頂上有無線電發射站, 其實不宜久留.
There is a radio station @ the hilltop, not a good idea to stay here for too long.






山頂上的高度標柱, 這裡約有 312米高.
A geometrical pole at the hilltop --- the height of Pottinger Peak is approx. 312m.




終於到了砵甸乍山郊遊徑的終點, 這裡有佛壇, 外有茶壺座椅, 供遊人使用.
Now we were @ the end point of Pottinger Peak Country Trail, there is a shrine nearby, with chairs and tea for hikers.




由龍躍徑下去小西灣道.
The last part -- going downhill to Siu Sai Wan Road via Leaping Dragon Walk.






穿過龍躍徑後, 經公園內的黑角徑, 去看看哥連臣角的海邊.
We walked via Leaping Dragon Walk and then continued our walk from Cape Collinson Path, to have a look @ the seaside of Cape Collinson.




回到公園, 兩頭可愛的大狗玩作一團.
Back to the park -- friendship between dogs --- See these 2 lovely dogs playing with each other!!


到了小西灣道, 今天的市郊登山遊終於完成!!
Now @ Siu Sai Wan Road, it is the last spot of our mountain walk today!!!
