馬灣探秘行 Ma Wan for fun (2 April 2010)








上午去完花坪頂, 下午去馬灣一遊. (新都會廣場有穿梭巴士去馬灣) ~~ 花老B 在馬灣的東灣泳灘看青馬橋.

After the morning trip to the top of Fa Peng, we went to Ma Wan for fun in the afternoon. (There's shuttle bus to Ma Wan from Metroplaza in Kwai Fong) ~~ Tachibana san @ Tung Wan Beach, Ma Wan. The back is Tsing-yi Bridge.

The abandoned Fong Yuen School still here~ It's a school for children living in Ma Wan and Tai Tsing Chau in the past.







芳園書室已被封鎖, 我們從學校後山的山路經引水道潛入學校外細看.

Fong Yuen school now is already being locked and not allowed to enter. We went down to get near the school from the path at the back of the school.

We can see Chinese white dophins near Kap Shui Mun seaside, but today's weather was very bad. Dolphins didn't show up.

離開汲水門海邊, 我們向樹林的方向跑去. 雖然下著雨, 但無阻我們探林之心.


We left Kap Shui Mun and ran into the woods nearby. Although the rain didn't stop, we still ran into the woods to have a look.








榕樹滿林, 有點陰森.... 不過, 很配合我們愛冒險的心.... hahaha

Banyan trees everywhere... The forest was quite dark today, due to the rain. But it's still a very interesting place for fun.

穿過榕樹堆, 與樹神玩遊戲!! 森林的另一邊比較光猛.

We ran through the banyan trees, had fun with the tree fairies (!!). Then we stopped at the other side of the woods~~ This side looked brighter.

再回東灣, 雨勢稍減. 之後便乘巴士離開馬灣.

The rain was not so heavy when we were back to Tung Wan Beach again. It's the time we left Ma Wan.

We waited for each other @ 0930 @ Tsing-ma Toll Plaza (The way to Tung Chung), near the subway.









收費廣場後方的流動廁所起步.

We started from the temporarily lavotory, which is near the Tsing-ma Toll Plaza, at the back of the subway.









30秒內已至起步的引水道, 開始上山.

In about 30 seconds, we reached the entrance of the Catchwater, which is the start point to the top of Fa Peng.









開始上花坪頂, 大約海拔273米高.

Started to walk up to the top of Fa Peng, which is about 273m in height (above sea level)









上花坪頂的路, 全是石屎樓梯, 輕鬆易行. 不過今天霧大, 空氣不佳, 上得我們氣喘喘.

The staircases leading to the top of Fa Peng are all concrete steps, very hiker-friendly. But it was foggy today, the quality of the air was not very good, we all walked very slowly due to the pollutants.

高山上霧更大, 不過空氣較地面清新, 亦很清涼舒適.

As we were at a higher place, the air became clear, although more foggy. It was much cooler here than the ground.









可見到花坪頂, 但其實仍有一段長路.

We could see the top of Fa Peng here. But actually there's still a long way to walk upwards to the top.









終於到了花坪頂, 可喜可賀!!

Well done!! We had reached the top of Fa Peng!!









花坪頂的高度標柱, 我們正處於海拔273米的山頂上.

This interesting thing acts like a "light house" for aeroplanes in the dark. Actually it is an "Obstacle Light", which is built by Civil Aviation Dept.

途中有小徑, 應該是通向二轉.

回程了, 回到收費廣場(市區方向), 對面的山便是剛才我們登上的花坪.

Now we were at the Toll Plaza (To city area), the hill at the opposite side is Fa Peng, which we had just visited.
