由南山營地巴士站出發.
Started from the BBQ site near Nam Shan Campsite bus-stop.
有點斜的石級.
A little bit steep, just go downstairs for the campsite.
到了白富田營地.
Just outside Pak Fu Tin Campsite.
水源...... 一定要有濾水器.
Source for water..... don't forget to bring a water filter bottle / LifeStraw before consuming.
Or bring your own clean water.... or go to Nam Shan Campsite instead.
日落時間, 收拾好去貝澳營地, 這裡什麼都沒有, 下山去乘巴士了.
Sunset time, pack up and go down to the bus-stop for Pui O Campsite.
There is no clean water here, so we have to go for another campsite to stay overnight.
This campsite is good for a day camp coz usually there is no visitors willing to come.

The photo still looks so bright but actually it's already dim.
Luckily we have got headlights and torches.
Stray dogs were barking inside the woods.....

You better go to the traffic road quickly when the sky is still not so dim, wild animals / stray dogs will come out very quickly during sunset time.
Wild boars and cows won't attack people (unless you make them angry), but the stray dogs may chase you when you are still inside the woods when it's getting dark....
Go back to the traffic road with street lights before 18:00 during autumn and winter.
Dogs and monkeys always have fights in the woods after sunset.
There were 2 fatal cases in 2026 due to dog bites in the country-side.
